300 Followers Give-away

I have been watching my follower list the last few weeks and yesterday I hit the 300 mark, when I started the blog I was so ignorant about blogging that I didn't even realize you could have followers or follow other blogs. I would have never dreamt that so many of you would be interested. To say thank you, I have decided to have a give-away.

The give-away items are a sideboard kit from The House of Miniatures, some French antique 100% cotton lace and a resin frame that my daughter painted a few years ago.

To enter the give-away, you must be a follower of this blog and leave a comment on this post.

You have until  21 September 2012 12pm South African time to post your comments (I have a clock with South African time on my side bar) and I will draw and announce the winner on Saturday.

Good luck

I won my first give-away!!!

Two weeks ago I discovered to my delight that I have won a give-away for the first time. Jennifer from A Georgian Dolls House offered this lovely coal scuttle kit as a give-away on her blog, it fits perfectly in my Victorian kitchen.

She even included some pieces of real coal, as soon as I come back from the USA, I will finish and paint the coal scuttle, it has a scoop that fits into the back of the scuttle, I like little details like this.

I wonder when the dog is going to see the mice? And because I know some of you are going to wonder, I made all the furniture, including the stove more than 10 years ago, they were some of my first miniature projects.

Go and have a look at Jennifer's website http://www.jsminiatures.co.uk/index.php she sells lovely fireplace kits, marble and wood floor tiles, etc.

Giveaway for faithful followers!!!!!!!!!

I want to thank all my faithful followers for their support, encouragement and friendship since I started my blog just over a year ago. I wish I could give all of you a little something, but since that is going to be impossible, I am having a giveaway. This giveaway is only open to people who already follow me, new followers are always welcome, but this time round I want to thank the people that has been following me for a while.

Up for grabs is this little beaded purse that I made sometime ago and one of my very first petit point pieces, a cat, he was stitched on 40 count canvas with DMC, the winner can choose whether they want it framed or made up into a cushion.

So if you would like to own these two pieces, here is what you must do:
1: Already be a follower.
2: Tell me why you follow me and what you are going to do with the two items if you win.
You have until midnight (South African time) 30 November to leave your comments. I will draw the winner on  1 December, good luck to you all!!!!

Have a wonderful weekend.
